The Hacksmith team is made up of outside-the-box thinkers who take fictional ideas from comics, movies, and video games and make real working prototypes. We document all of our creations on YouTube, and in doing so make dreams a reality by building real life superhero tech; as seen in our channel trailer! We take pride in inspiring youth around the world to get into STEM and other related fields, while always dreaming bigger. We are social influencers and we make money by selling advertising to companies who want to reach our demographic of young males. Our social media reach is as follows:

YouTube: 6,900,000 subscribers / 50M+ views per month

Facebook: 230,000 likes / 286K+ reach per month

Instagram: 240,000 followers

We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated individual who can identify problems and solve them independently. We are social influencers and we sell advertising services (sponsorships) to brands who want to reach our demographic of young males. Here are some examples of advertising ads we have done for clients in the past:

You will report directly to the founders as you execute the marketing/sales strategy. It will be your job to market, negotiate and sell our advertising services to brands/agencies, then liaison with the production team to ensure that contractual obligations are met. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Execute marketing/sales strategy and achieve sales targets.
  • Creation of sales and marketing materials.
  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients/agencies, while maintaining existing relationships.
  • Pitch Hacksmith advertising services to prospective clients/agencies
  • Negotiate service terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders. 
  • Communicate with the design and production teams to ensure services are executed on schedule, as per the contractual agreement.
  • Managing company and client expectations.
  • Integration tracking (logging which sponsors have appeared in which videos for future reference). 

Required Skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in growing with the company. 
  • Experience with social media and influencer marketing with a deep understanding of analytics. 
  • Proven inside sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal,written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Experience with CRM
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented
  • Eager to help expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories.

Bonus points for 

  • Previous experience working across several sectors, including: marketing, influencer advertising, sales, and business development. 
  • Experience and knowledge working with major brands and running social media campaigns.
  • Strong relationships with various influencer marketing agencies. 
  • Graphic design experience. 
  • Strong understanding of social media and the entertainment industry.
